Food supplements and superfoods can support the balanced diet of vegans, vegetarians and meat eaters!Regardless of the diet, everyone in Europe should supplement Vitamin B12 and Vitamin D. This is something all physicians agreed upon on the international VegMed Medical Congress 2016 in Berlin
Vitamin B12 is produced by microorganisms in the soil. Formerly, grazing animals were getting their Vitamin B12 from the soil and, therefore, you would find the Vitamin B12 in the animal meat. It was also possible to get the Vitamin B12 directly from the soil just by roughly brushing the organic vegetables. But nowadays intensive agriculture has heavily leached the soils in Europe, so that microorganisms are not producing enough Vitamin B12 anymore. Animals in livestock breeding are treated with concentrated feed and supplements, so that these substances can be found in animal based foods. Thus, we can also supplement humans with Vitamin B12 directly to spare the lives of the animals, but also save huge amounts of resources through food, fresh water and finally enormous quantities of drugs that enter again into our ground water.
Another important vitamin is Vitamin D. Human beings should every day sunbathe around 25 minutes during lunchtime to synthesize enough Vitamin D. Unfortunately, for most the population this is not possible. In the Winter months, not enough direct solar rays arrive in Europe and, therefore, most of the population suffers from a constant Vitamin D deficiency.
Other dietary supplements, including Veg1, Phyto Vitamins, L-carnitine, vitamin D3, omega 3 fatty acids, alkaline powder or Rechts-Regulat fall into this category.
